Antic led Serbia to the World Cup finals next summer, topping a qualifying group which contained France.
Now the Serbian Football Association (FSS) have confirmed that Antic will be at the helm for their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.
And if Antic successfully guides Serbia to Ukraine and Poland, then that will automatically extend for the finals too.
"Many good things happened since Antic took over in August 2008 and we have decided to maintain the present course with Antic at the helm for the Euro 2012 campaign," said an FSS statement.
"The current contract will be extended until the end of the qualifiers and it is to be renewed automatically for the finals should Serbia reach the tournament.
"With Antic in charge, the national soccer team has pulled crowds back to the stadiums, several players have peaked and football has won back its place in society."
Antic took charge of Serbia in 2008, replacing Miroslav Djukic.
