Chelsea and England captain John Terry has been named in the Fifa World XI of the Year alongside Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard.
Reds striker Fernando Torres was also included, while Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra were named to complete a quintet of Premier League involvement.
Terry said: "There is no higher accolade than to be voted for by your fellow professionals so we are all very proud."
Former United star Cristiano Ronaldo won the Fifa Puskas award for the best goal of the 2008/09 season.
The new Real Madrid hero earned the accolade for the long-range thunderbolt against Porto in the UEFA Champions League in April prior to his move to Spain.
