Fabio Capello's England will face old rivals Wales in their Euro 2012 qualification campaign after the draw was made here on Sunday for the tournament to be held in the Ukraine and Poland.England are in Group G, where they will face John Toshack's Wales. They will also come up against Switzerland, Bulgaria and Montenegro.
Scotland were drawn in Group I where they will face holders Spain, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Liechtenstein.
Northern Ireland face a tough-looking task in Group C in the shape of world champions Italy, Serbia, Slovenia, Estonia and Faroe Islands.
Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland are in Group B and will come up against Russia, Slovakia, Macedonia, Armenia and Andorra.
