Premier League preview round 25

Much was made of Manchester City's under Roberto Mancini after he replaced Mark Hughes at the head, but they have stalled lately with defeats at Everton and Hull City.

Their Carling Cup semi final match with Manchester United ended in last-gasp heartache, while the off-field issues surrounding Wayne Bridge provided a further distraction.

Bolton make the trip to Eastlands just one point above the drop zone with new boss Owen Coyle having overseen just one Premier League success in five games since being brought in to replace the axed Gary Megson.

Portsmouth have had as many owners as Premier League victories this season and sit seven points away from a position of safety as out-of-form Sunderland make the lengthy trip to Fratton Park.

Burnley claimed their first victory under new manager Brian Laws at home to West Ham on Saturday and now need to address their appalling away form when they come up against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Stoke City are another Premier League side who have failed to fire on their travels ahead of their trip to Wigan, with a paltry four goals scored in 11 away days somehow helping them claim one victory and five draws.
