England will continue their preparation for the 2010 World Cup Finals hosting Africa Cup of Nations winner Egypt at Wembley.
African champions Egypt have been picked by the Football Association not randomly, to provide England team with an experiance for their Group C clash with Algeria at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The past month has probably been the most traumatic since the Italian took charge of England two years ago as the John Terry affair and the resulting unwillingness of Wayne Bridge to play for England have dominated the back and front pages of newspapers across the land
Manager Fabio Capello has declared Wednesday's friendly at Wembley is part of the England's preparation for this summer's finals and it's fair to say that the Italian will befit the game in a typically professional manner.
England was impressive in qualifying and many agree it is their best shot in decades to challenge for the World Cup trophy in South Africa. There are the usual players on the team including Lampard, Gerrard, Terry, and Rooney.
Egypt's tactic works perfectly against African's opposition in the Cup of Nations but frequently comes unstuck against European opponents. It will be a tight game, but if England's reserve defenders show some togetherness then Capello's side should win at Wembley.
Verdict: England vs Egypt 4-1
