AC Milan warmed up for their UEFA Champions League date with Manchester United with a 3-2 home win over Udinese.
Ronaldinho did not put his own name on the scoresheet, he set up all three goals as Milan regained second spot in the table.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar headed Milan into an early lead and substitute Alexandre Pato extended the advantage in the 39th minute.
Antonio Floro Flores gave Udinese hope with a goal back on the stroke of half-time, but Huntelaar's second of the game had the Rossoneri back in command before Antonio Di Natale netted a late consolation for the visitors.
Milan coach Leonardo left David Beckham on the bench for the second game running, but Alessandro Nesta was back at the heart of the defence after a three-week injury absence.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was watching on from the stands and will have been given a lot to ponder by Ronaldinho, who was pulling the strings in the Milan attack.
Meanwhile, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar hopes his brace against Udinese will be enough to keep him in the side to face Manchester United in the Champions League.
