Schalke came from behind to beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at home and boost their Bundesliga title hopes.
Neither side could break the deadlock in a tight first half but the game exploded into life two minutes after the break.
Nuri Sahin fired Dortmund ahead from the penalty spot before Benedikt Howedes equalised in the 66th minute.
Croatian playmaker Ivan Rakitic then popped up with the decisive goal seven minutes from time.
The result lifts third-placed Schalke to within one point of joint leaders Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, who have yet to play this weekend.
Dortmund remain fifth and have now lost four of their past five games after being in the title reckoning themselves just a few weeks ago.
