Stoke City vs Arsenal Preview & Prediction

Arsenal attempt to keep their title push on track at Britannia Stadium but they will not find it easy to beat a Potters side that has not lost a league game so far in 2010.

Arsenal have already lost at the Britannia Stadium this season, the 3-1 FA Cup fourth round exit in January. And in their only previous Premier League visit, last season, they lost 2-1.

The game is a chance for Arsenal to go back within two points of Manchester United, who are in Carling Cup final this weekend.

Tony Pulis men have only lost three times at home this season, and two of those were against Chelsea and Manchester United, who both had to dig deep to earn the points.

Stoke will have Abdoulaye Faye and Andy Wilkinson available after suspension, while Danny Higginbotham and Matthew Etherington are missing with injury.

For Arsenal William Gallas should be back in defence, Eduardo could be available too, while Andre Arshavin, Kieron Gibbs, Robin van Persie and Johan Djourou are missing.

Verdict: Stoke City vs Arsenal 2-2

1 comment:

  1. Ive got a sneaky bet on Stoke to win this, with Arsenals injuries and Stokes strengths being Arsenals weakness. I think they might cause the gunners some problems.
