Catania put title race open in Serie A after defeating Inter Milan

Catania come from behind to shook the Serie A leader with a 3-1 success over 10-man Inter Milan at Angelo Massimino leaving the title race open.

Diego Milito put the Nerazzurri ahead in the 9th minute of the second half, but Catania declined to recognize itself as losers and Maxi Lopez leveled 20 minutes later.

Unbelievably, Sulley Muntari was sent off after just two minutes he entered in play as he gave away a penalty spot which become a goal from Giuseppe Mascara in the 81st minute.

Jorge Martinez consolidate a very important and necessary success for the Rosazzurri in the final minute as Inter bad performance just ahead of their trip to Stamford Bridge next week in the UEFA Champions League clash with Chelsea.

Their lead at the top of the standing could be shortened to just one point if AC Milan win against Chievo on Sunday night, while Catania move eight points clear of the relegation zone.
