Manolo Jimenez has been sacked by Sevilla after a poor performance in the Primera Division and UEFA Champions League.
Tuesday's 1-1 draw with bottom placed Xerex looks to be the last straw for a board whose patience has been brought to breaking point over last weeks.
Xerez netted an added time equaliser at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan to leave Sevilla without a win in their last seven games.
During that period the Andalusian team were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by CSKA Moscow, ending their European dreams for another year.
