Wolves hammered West Ham in six points match


Two goals in three minutes in the second period helped Wolves to procure a smashing 3-1 win over fellow for survive West Ham at Upton Park to accumulate the push on their relegation rivals.

Wanderers had the better of the first period and took advantage on the Hammers unrestful approach when Kevin Doyle benefited on James Tomkins bad touch to go ahead into the area and drop a low drive into the net via the bottom of the post.

West Ham returned one back, thanks to Guillermo Franco's late intension, but it was Mick McCarthy's team who eased their troubles with the vital victory, pulling seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Wolverhampton seems to be safe, but the defeat leaves West Ham only three points above Hull, Burnley and the relegation zone.
