The Blues miserable night as Inter Milan beat Chelsea


Samuel Eto'o scored the only goal as Inter Milan overcome Chelsea to provide "The Scpcial One" enjoyed a successful return to Stamford Bridge.

The Cameroon internationals 79th minute goal was absolutely deserved as the Italian champions advanced into the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals folowing 3-1 aggregate.

In the second half, Inter Milan controled the game, with Diego Milito shooting wide when clean through and Motta misspend a free header before Eto'o goal after being played through by Wesley Sneijder.

To be Chelsea's miserable night completed, Drogba was sent off late on after stamping on Motta in the box.

Jose Mourinho has never lost a league match at home ground in the time as manager at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea fans welcomed with warm applause but Mourinho refrained from hogging the limelight as he knew he and his team had a job to do.
